Hello:

I have a quick question. I would like to purchase like 3 licenses but not all at ones, maybe at an interval of 2 months each. Just wondering if Bulk Discount will be applicable when I purchase the 3rd license ? If so can i just pay $79 [93 * 3 = 279 - 200 [would have paid] = 79] when I purchase the third one ?

Thanks.

The bulk discounts only apply to the licenses you are purchasing at the time of discount, but elegibility for the discount takes into account the number of existing licenses. So if you buy 2 now, and a third later, you only get the discount on the third, but if you buy 3 now, as I understand it, you get the discount on all 3. So if you want the discount on all three, buy all three together.

The way I see it, I'd buy all 3 now.
This way you get:
- Discount on all 3
- The year of updates doesn't matter as the system is changing
- Free upgrade to v4 (No Suite)

Since the system is changing to a per version cost, and not per year the time no longer seems important.

NOTE: However, I could be wrong, but if it were I, I would get all 3 now, life is a bit of a gamble no matter what you do, but I'd say the financial odds are sitting there.

No. Currently it is.

(owned)
License 1 180.00
License 2 180.00
License 3 166.00
License 4 166.00
License 5 166.00

If you buy 2 now, it's 360.00
Buy the 3rd later, it's another 166.00.

Get all (3) now, it's $526.00
Same thing.

(leased)
1 $100.00
2 $100.00
3 $93.00
4 $93.00
5 $93.00

Buy 2, it's $200.00
When you buy the 3rd, it will be another $93.00
Get all 3 now, it's $293.00.

I would not recommend getting a leased license unless you don't plan on keeping it for more than 1 year.

EDIT: I stand corrected. See below.

Incorrect, as quoted from the sales FAQ:

There are two ways to qualify for a discount. The first is to purchase all licenses at once, in which case the discount applies to all licenses purchased. For instance, if you purchase three owned licenses at once, the price will be $166 for each license or $498 for all three. The second method is cumulative. In this case if you purchase two licenses, both these will be at full price. However the third license purchased will qualify for the $166 price.
