I have heard horror story upon horror story about the Cobalt RaQ series, namely the RaQ2 & 3. I was wondering if anyone has heard anything (good or bad) about the RaQ4's? They seem to offer many more integrated features (including php :)). This is for work, where we won't be running much cgi (hopefull), though I'm sure some will be needed at some point. In other words, I don't want to say that we *don't* need strong cgi support.
So what's the good word on the Raq4 front?

Yes, the main problem with RaQ servers is the OS that they have on board.
Cobalt OS is now totally outdated. Which is a shame, as I personally am a big fan. They run Apache 1.3 (which means that it is difficult to get new php features to work).
I have just recently updated to the new Strongbolt OS from www.osoffice.co.uk (http://www.osoffice.co.uk)
Am really pleased with it. CentOS + BlueQuartz on a Cobalt. Installation was a doddle, it installed as easily as any other RaQ restore disk.
Would reccomend it to anyone :)
