Height and width of header

I'd like to create my own logo/header. The current logo/header I incorporate is 209 x 85. Obviously I can make it alot wider and keep the height the same.

But, what exactly is the maximum width?

There is no maximum width for the title image. But of course it will look bad if it's too wide.
