I am not sure I really like the mock up that much. I find it hard to track with my eye where things line up and statistical information lines up to where without having to look really hard.

Pls don't post on every page that this is the new vb4 style because it's not.
Thats just your version and not the official;)

It could be missunderstood by many users

This does not seem to be related to vb4 in any way.

Really nice job on this. I have it installed on my localhost and I've been toying around with it.

Using plugins and template conditionals, I've managed to get the tabs to work correctly, and the menu under the tabs changes based on where you are on the forum. So far I added tabs for Forum, Albums, Blogs, Calendar, Groups, and Projects.

Again, really nice job on this. :)

Yeah, I hope the vB 4 style is not the same because this waste really the ppl eyes, very too light

I really hope vBulletin 4 doesn't look this way. I hate all the faded gradients everywhere with no definition on anything.

I think the vBulletin 4 style is going to need a ton of hacks done to it to make it useable. It's a step backwards in my opinion if this is really what it's going to look like.

o.O

You think so?

I think it's very easy on my eyes, and my eyes aren't the greatest.

I have to agree, I've looked at the demo page and it is indeed too light in many areas. I also don't like the barrel effect on tcat and tthead.

It's nowhere near as good as I first thought. In fact I don't like it now.

Remember that the screenshots for the vBulletin 4 style only showed a certain amount of it, and didn't give away much of the code. This demo site, while interesting is probably coded a lot differently than vBulletin 4 proper, and certain areas like the bottom of the pages are probably guesswork because they weren't shown in screenshots.

I can garauntee this.

The style isn't poorly coded, but it is still based on vB3 templates, which are, for the most part, unchanged.

Not to mention it uses more tables than the vBulletin 4 style will use, such as on the pages which didn't have screenshots shown in the official blog entry.
