I did a search about how I can require New Members to post in the Introduction Forum before they are allowed to post elsewhere on my Forum.

I made a new Usergroup called "New Members"
I set Promotion to >1 post to be promoted to Registered Users
I set all the other Forums and Sub-forums to non-viewable for New Members

My question: how do I direct members to post in the Introduction Forum first?

I've restricted their access until they have 1 post (an introduction), but how do I "redirect" them to this Forum to post? I don't want people getting pissed that they can't post and bail.

Thanks for any help.

You could use the notice system to give them directions.

I know... I wanted to do something like the Notice System...I completely forgot that is an option (I've never used).

Thanks for the help WoodyG! :D

There's a modification on vbulletin.org that you can use to achieve this :)

Do you know what it's called? I searched, but I guess I didn't search good enough. ;)
