PM Email Notification Late Sending

I want to know whats normal behavior. If you have email notifications turned on for new private messages. Don't you get the email instantly, when someone sends you a new PM?

Someone sent me a new pm last night for example and I just now got the email this morning alerting me.

Is there a cron that runs the alerts or?

What's your setting at
AdminCP -> vBulletin Options -> EMail Options -> Use Mailqueue System?

If this is set to yes, this may cause mails to be sent with delay.

I think it is the server settings, that delays that much.. do you have a busy forum?
