I added a new page in vBa CMPS and my custom style, on main page that has been woking for 4 months, won't load correctly. http://www.liplies.com (http://www.liplies.com/).
All my images are in the images folder and they show up in the styles manager in my custom style.
The problem started immediately after creating a new page in vBa CMPS.
May not be a vBa CMPS problem so I posted here also.
I made new templates, but none of them work. They are at the bottom left of page (http://www.liplies.com) if you want to try them.
I have re-uploaded all files in root and all in the vBa CMPS directories with no change.
Anyone got any ideas?

It appears the CSS location is wrong. It's looking to this location:
http://www.liplies.com/clientscript/vbulletin_css/style-9b7f615d-00006.css
You can see that the file doesn't exist. Try editing and saving your CSS:
Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> Main CSS (in the menu)
That will prompt a rebuild of the CSS file which may fix this.
Also make sure the clientscript/vbulletin_css directory is fully writable (chmod 777).

Did this first.

Yes it does. How can I correct this?

vBAdvanced had same ideas, then referred me here. Hope you can figure this out.
Is there a file I can re-upload that will correct the path?

The HTML comments indicate Style: 'Liplies Main Style'; Style ID: 6. Make sure you are editing and saving the CSS for that style. Check the clientscript/vbulletin_css directory before and after to make sure it's creating a new CSS file. If it doesn't create a new one then that probably means the directory isn't writable.

I get a 403 forbidden error when trying to look at the css. It seems your directory or file permissions are not set correctly.

My host is looking at this. Chmode is not doing the trick. I read different permissions depending on which FTP program I use. Something is messed up on server I think. I am waiting on host and will post solution when I find it.

I am going to be using vBTube (installed, not set up yet).
Thinking vBTube would also store in the database, I changed Attachment Storage Type because uploading a back up of my database would be a problem with my host (2MB limit).
I did this at the same time problem started (Wayne Luke’s reply from support ticket below reminded me):
Attachment Storage Type
Search above in: http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html (http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html).
Thinking vBTube would also store in the database was wrong. I moved Attachment Storage Type back to database and still no work.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting vBulletin Support. Something is preventing your CSS file from being loaded by the browser. It is returning a 403 forbidden error:
http://www.liplies.com/clientscript/vbulletin_css/style-fcce9eb6-00006.css (http://www.liplies.com/clientscript/vbulletin_css/style-fcce9eb6-00006.css)
This is why your forums are not loading correctly.
You need to make sure that the clientscript and all sub-directories are readable by the browser.
It could be that your server no longer allows directories in the webroot to be chmod 0777.
If this is the case, you will need to load the CSS directly from the database.
You can do this under vBulletin Options -> vBulletin Options -> Style & Language Settings.

This has been done for days now.

Server found no problem (1 day).

Store CSS as Files
Search above in: http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html (http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html).
You should then go to vBulletin Options > Style & Language Settings and switch the Store CSS Stylesheets as Files? setting to No. Now it works.
:confused::confused:
I cannot explain why I had to do this, as chmod had 777 permissions all the time.
