Messed with cookie settings and locked myself out! :-(

So I have been working on getting mediawiki setup to run using a subdomain. I was messing with the cookie settings and I have locked myself (and everyone else) out!! Ack.
Does anyone have any information on what I can do to get back into control panel to change the cookie setting back?

Upload the tools.php file in the 'do_not_upload' folder of the vB zip file to your Admin CP directory and run it from your browser. Use this to reset the cookie domain and path back to the defaults.

Then leave your cookie domain and path at the default settings.

don't forget to delete tools.php from your server once its fixed.
