Get one of the Admins/Mods to add you back on as a new user (you may need to use a different email address initially depending on your settings). Make sure they add you to the Administrators usergroup.

You should then update your privileges accordingly and add your new userid to the config.php file as an Unalterable user so that it doesn't happen again.

Also have a look at what permissions your Mod team has, particularly the numpty who binned you!

So someone on the forum has removed your forum account and changed the FTP details to your server and not told you!?!

You paid for the license but is it in your name or is it in someone elses?

If it's not your site and you don't have FTP access then you are out of luck...

What do you mean by it's "your site" do you own it? do you have the hosting under your name? if not then your barking up the wrong tree here.

Definition of "My site"

My vbulletin forum, I purchased the license, it is under my name contact details etc.

Do you own the domain? if not your out of luck!

All you can do is change the address in your license and report the site as running an illegal copy, but that takes forever and three days to enforce anyway.

Nope, We settled our differences.

But vbulletin crashed our server.

Is there anyway so I can make my main admin user unbannable? for the future

hmmmm I really don't think vb can crash a server if properly configured, it's most likely a configuration error that has caused this rather then vb itself.

Add your userid to the Unalterable Users list in the config.php file and be VERY careful who you give the FTP details to!

What's the address of the site?

I'd contact the hosting company although if you don't own the hosting account then I'd cut your losses and leave the others to sort out the mess...

Look for a new host mate as well. That server seems to be dodgey and can't take large boards.

So let me guess, you installed 4 plugins and the server crashed and then you were kicked out?

Expierence

Who's 'snobby'? The server owner?

In that case go find a new host NOW...
