I need some recommendations for a host.
Either a VPS or Dedicated (although I can't go overboard on that).
Currently the stats are:
Threads: 40,718, Posts: 564,541, Members: 6,230
Memory used: 108 MB.
Disk Space: 3G
2 domain names.
Looking for: 512MB-1G Ram and able to handle 300people online at a time without slowing to a crawl and obviously good uptime.
Can you guys recommend a host for me please?

I've had a VPS with URLJet.com (http://www.urljet.com) for several months and have been very happy. Since vBulletin is all they do it makes it worry free for me. I would say based on 300+ members you will want at least 1GB RAM.

I've been looking since I posted and I saw that liquidweb had a lot of good reviews here.
I don't think that I want to go for the forum hosting. But I did look at their vps prices and for the same thing liquidweb is cheaper.
So far, that's my front runner. The one time I did change hosts, it didn't work so well but I'm ready to leave ipower for good now.

Will you be needing management, and is there a specific location you're looking for?

No specific location and I don't really need management

If you have 300 online at a time please go with at least 2048 megs of ram and not the lesser amount. This would also depend on where you have your cache setting at in the vb admin panel also.
Over the past 12 to 16 months we have started using fastcgi/php on our servers which has made a big difference also, something to think about...
