How many users are concurrently online on your website?
And, what's your database size (in MB/GB)?

I have heard good things about UrlJet (http://www.urljet.com/fully-managed-vps.php).
However, looking at your stats, you may also go for semi-dedicated hosting if you do not wish to handle the sever administrations.

How about Gigapros? I like your Professional package @ http://www.gigapros.com/portal/index.php/products-a-services/semi-dedicated.html
do you think it will work for my site? also how much RAM does Gigapros provide for that plan?
I prefer Cpanel hosting.

How about Gigapros?
Sure, you can host your site with us.

do you think it will work for my site? also how much RAM does Gigapros provide for that plan? I prefer Cpanel hosting. - I think the Professional Plan would suffice your needs.
- See the resource allocations here (http://www.gigapros.com/portal/index.php/about-us/terms-and-conditions/48.html) (remember to see the tab for Semi-Dedicated hosting)
- All our hosting plans come with CPanel.

Our site is much larger, and we host our site on a shared hosting plan with www.asmallorange.com

I don't think you need a VPS.

The reason I am looking for a VPS is Hostgator told me that shared servers can no longer handle my site. I was on their Plan: Baby Croc

Hello,

This message is to advise you of a temporary block placed on your account.
The account referenced above was found to be consuming an inordinate amount
of system resources, to the point of degrading overall system performance.

While we do limit each account to no more than 25% of a system's resources in our
terms of service, we do not actively disable accounts until they greatly exceed
that number, which is what happened in this case.

It was necessary to disable your account to maintain a minimum level of proper
service for everyone else. From this point, the following options are available:

a) Block heavy users of your site, if any, that may be causing excessive load.
b) Optimize scripts (php, etc) that may be consuming a large amount of cpu or RAM
c) Upgrade to a dedicated server; your site may have outgrown a shared environment.

Please do choose Hostgator with caution cause they will block you right away.

Anyone else have any other suggestions? I have to move soon. Thanks in advance.

Would recommend no less than 512 megs of ram all though 1024 megs would be much better for you.

I was told that Cpanel itself uses around 150 MB ram so I need @ least 1 gb RAM.

Still looking... prices are high for managed servers.

The only reason I want cpanel is it makes it easier for me to trasfer the sites over.
Does anyone know any company that does free site trasfers with unmanaged hosting?
Or a company that does the trasfering service for a good rate.

So that way I don't have to worry about getting Cpanel and save some money.

As it stands now what do you use in cpanel? You can always get a vps without cpanel and the company can setup php, mysql, apache, stats, phpmyadmin and other things for you at the same time moving your site, all you would need is a full home backup of your site to load on the vps and untar it.
