Has anyone used this hoster? $5 month seems a bit cheap for that kind of a deal. The forum would average several hundred to several thousand views a day, with possibly several or more couple hundred MB files on it. Would this be sufficient? Thanks.

That's a highly oversold hosting deal.
Try buying a 800GB hard-disk for $5 and you will definitely get your answer. :)
