image attachments

when image attachments are set to be a link in the thread can it be made so that link cannot be used as an img src from a remote web page? i tested this an an attachment link does work as a img src... the image displays on the remote page by using it. i have an image attachment on my forums that has been downloaded 1200 times because it's being used in an img src tag. i've talked to the guy who is doing it... i'm ok with it cos i got tons of extra bandwidth right now. but if i need to place restrictions... :)

I *think* John posted something like this in the Tips forum... not sure if it's exactly what you want though, you'll have to check.
