I would like to allow html, but even then there is a [code] vb tag.
I don't want to allow java in posts or sigs.
I did not see an option in the admin area.
Currently running 2.0.1
Thanks
Steve

You really need to update to 2.0.3 since there's a big security hole in the version you're running.
Also could you please enter your license info into your user profile? Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion.
Info is updated.
Now back to the topic. How do I disable all java in the forum?

Thanks!
Do you mean 'java' or 'javascript'? If javascript, then this thread may help:

If java, then I don't know the answer. However you'd probably have better luck posting in the 'How Do I' forum. This forum is for suggestions and feedback.

I see. Why don't scripts run here but does on my 2.0.1 version (which I am upgrading shortly)?
Is this something that has been fixed?
Is it an option?

I believe that in the current version a code was added to separate java from script in the phrase javescript: (so it looks like javascript:).

We also disable HTML in the posts here which by default disables the <script> tag.
