What would be the best/quickest way to delete all PMs sent by one user?

What would be the best/quickest way to delete all PMs sent by one user over the last few hours? A spammer sent about 3k PMs (all identical) with offensive spam content. I need to delete these PMs for all users who haven't opened the PM yet.

How would you approach this? Thanks!

AdminCP --> Users --> Private message Statistics

will list the users in the order of those having the most Private Messages.

You can then click on the[List Users with # Messages] and it will show you the name of the individual(s) with # number of PMs. There is then a dropdown box which has, among its choices:

Delete All User's Private Messages

This will delete all of the identified member's PMs.

[EDIT] Oops! This is to delete the messages in their PMbox, not the PM's they have sent. Sorry!

Here it is:

AdminCP --> Users --> Enter Username of spammer--> Exact Match

Page opens with that user's information.

DropDown Menu at top of page --> Quick User Links --> Delete Private Messages Sent by User

It will open another page, asking you to confirm deleting ALL that user's sent PM's!

A spammer sent about 3k PMs...That's a huge number - do you have flood control turned on for PM's?
