Ask this question to yourself -- "Can I buy 800GB of hard-disk for $4.99?".

But still people will opt for such overselling web host.

Its defenitely an overseller account or whats otherwise known as a reseller account, explains why they give 800GB disk space, unlimited Databases email accounts etc.

If they had a truly dedicated server, prices would be much higher than that.

Obviously overselling, as most of the industry leaders do. The price and resources are comparable to most hosts like bluehost, godaddy, lunarpages etc. if you really don't expect to get all that they offer, give it a try.
