message box color?

hey guys and gals,modified my main css colors but cant find how to change message box color.any help? where can i change this? thanks

If I understand you correctly, you are referring to alt1 and/or alt2. You can tell for sure if you look at the source code of a page and look for the class= for the element you want to change.

thanks for reply,i mean when you go to post a reply or a new post you get a message box where you type like the one when you posted your reply to my message(the little smileys to your right,fonts up above etc.)its grey,i want it to match my other colors to my site.

That's called the message editor. AdminCP > Styles & Templates > Style Manager > [style you want to edit] All Style Options Go Scroll down to Input Fields and change the Background color. It will not only change the background of the message editors, but the input fields on all forms, etc.
