i am currently with strato for my vbulletin site, which over the past months has gotten really slow 1-2 minutes to load a page
i have read great reviews for both sites and am unsure of which one to go to, my site currently has around 15000+ threads and around 300-350 members, it is a football (soccer) club site, so is likely to grow alot in the coming months
i only have a few mods installed (arcade, casino, ame video embedding) but would be looking to add more once i've moved
i rely on donations from members for the cost of the server etc... so would be looking at around 30-40 a month (which is enough to get the vbpro deal on urljet)
Does anyone have any advice of which host company i should go with?

around 300-350 members
Is this TOTAL number of members?...or is this "simultaneously online" members??

What is your monthly current usage i.e space and bandwidth ? Is it shared hosting package right now?

Another vote for Global Gold from me. I've been a customer since 2000 and their service is as good now as it was back then. I have a dedicated web server running a major UK video-game magazine and high traffic forum, figures below. If you start with shared hosting, they will help you as your business grows.

We recently moved to Global Gold after getting screwed by GoDaddy and SiteGround. The move was seamless, and they've been great so far. Only a few month in though. I'd of said the same about siteground until the 6 month mark when they closed us down for CPU usage which was never mentioned when we picked our package.
GG went over our needs and every thing seems great so far.

the 350 members is total, we can have around 50-60 members online at one time
i contacted both to discuss the migration etc... URLjet contacted me within 5-10 mins and we talked alot about it via email and discussed the options etc...
did the same with globalgold on the same day (7 days ago) and still have no had a single reply from them, everytime i check out their site the chat thing is always offline, is this normal service by them as this has put me off a little
edit - just checked and we are using around 200mb of server space (i have other test sites on there) and the bandwidth varies depending how the team is doing lol the lowest we have used in the past 6 months is 23gb of bandwidth

I am hosting my forum with URLJET from last six months , My forum runs much faster then ever before because of their litespeed web servers and my forum is also secure with hourly backup which impress my alot ,They manage every thing for me with no extra cost.I think URLJET is the best for vbulletin hosting

I've been with UrlJet for almost a year now and I couldn't be happier. I'm using their vB starter package and my pages load pretty dang fast in my opinion. They also set up my forum and customized it a lot for me. I'm very satisfied with Todd and the crew at UrlJet because they're always there for me. If you send them an email you won't be waiting around two or three days for someone to reply........you'll be getting one fast!:)
Feel free to check out my forum to see for yourself how fast it loads and how they set it up:D.

I would have to agree. Hard to beat all that URLJet offers for the price.
I'd give them an A++!!!

EDIT: Apologies - I liked one of the subjects so much it was considered advertising, so I've edited away my endorsement. :)
