Change Hosting from Godaddy

I keep getting a 500 internal error and I'd like to switch hosts from godaddy to another hosting company.

How easy is it to switch hosts. My vBulletin database is pretty large.

Any hosts recommended?

Note: The only reliable method of backing up and restoring a database is with shell access via telnet or ssh. This is because backing up with a PHP script like that in the Admin CP or phpMyAdmin can result in PHP timeouts errors and an incomplete backup file. Please see the instructions here:

I used to have phpBB installed on my site and I installed vBulletin and am very happy with it so far.

I looked at the error log and it says this:

except I've removed the phpBB directory from the root.

any suggestions.

Your new hosting company should be able to offer support for this. Have you asked them with a ticket or phone call?

Which control panel you have with Godday? Is it cPanel?
