Import Categories and Forums from a text file

Can impex import Forums and Categories from a text file? Not from another forum system, but from a file I create defining category/forum parent/child relationships.

Nope, there is no generic importer like that.

Thanks for the quick reply. That's unfortunate. Do you know if there is a developer's API for vB mods? I did a capture of the SQL code for creating a forum and it was huge.

Perhaps if there was developer documentation I would have a better understanding of how to develop that type of add-on myself.
