What if there was a host which offered...

- vBulletin Included ( non-transferable)
- Unlimited Bandwidth*
- >9000mb Space
- Free Installation & Upgrades

*When not used in an abusive manner, or something other than primarily a forum. IE. File-Host.

... for $15/month & possibly requiring a link ( Hosted by... ). I'm toying with the idea of high-risk hosting, or purchasing vbulletin licenses ahead of time with no guarantee of profit.

This is of course targeted at people who do NOT own vB, but I'd like some thoughts. Yes, it would be fast, my main concern.

What if there was a host that actually is fast and offered a 100% uptime? hehe..

Actually I guess such a host will need to have tie up with Jelsoft, buying a yearly license for each domain would make the price to shoot up. Obviously they cant buy an owned license due to the cost without having a hosting contract for 5 years or so.

Another problem with host managing the upgrade is the conflicts with custom hacks that may not be compatible with the newer version. Only way this can be limited is by not giving full admin rights to the site owner, which I believe is not what you are expecting to have.
