do you have an example of the pdf file?? I might be able to tinker with it :D I think you have to have the full version of adobe acrobat. I only have the reader :) and the full version is to expensive for my blood :(

Do you really want to modify a pdf file (Adobe Acrobat document) or a psd file (Adobe Photoshop graphic).

Your making references to icons and buttons, so I'm thinking you probably mean the latter.

If thats the case tell us more and we may be able to help further.

Actually the vB manual already explains how to do gradient and icons.

http://www.vbulletin.com/manual/graphics.html

As far as changing the font goes, use my previous tutorial, and once the text is selected, just change the font from the dropdown list.

No your right, actually replacing the icon is not covered.

It's relatively easy to do, but not easy to explain.

Do you already have the icon that you want to use?

Maybe some others can post some links to good basic Photoshop tutorials you can have a look at.

I'll try to explain this in wording best i can..if this doesnt' work let me know and I will make an illustrated one.

1st Step)
Find the layer which contains the icon you want to get rid of. Drag that layer to the trash can in the layers palette.

2nd Step)
Open up the icon you want to use. Get a selection around the icon. If you got it off a webpage it may have a solid colored background. If this is the case just take the magic wand tool(hit W) and click once on the background to select the whole background. The Go Select>Insverse and you will have a selection around the icon now. Then go Edit>Copy. Jump back into the file you were working on and then go edit>paste. It should paste the icon in there. Then take the move tool (hit V) and place it overtop of the button. Then if you'd like throw a drop shadow on it. Layer>Layer Style>Drop Shadow. Leave the angle etc all the same and just change the distance and size to 2.

Hope this helps. The above kind of demands that you have the basics..If this doesn't make any sense let me know and I can eitehr A) Write it longer with illustrations or B)Just send me the icon and I will do it
