Just asking a simple question here.
Why can't we import our own forums from forumer.com?
I have got one (IPB) there but looked in the Impex file to see if it was able to be imported but couldn't find one for forumer forums.

Not details!! As Zachery said you need a BACKUP of your forum database (a full copy of your forum database saved to your hard drive).
I heard Forumer charges $$ for backups. I might be wrong though.

I have asked them via email. They would be wrong to charge when really we didn't have to pay anything for their service.

Alternatives is to stay there using that forum with horrible templates and ordinary servers.

Its not really wrong of them, they have a business, they need said money to stay in business. You should be careful when signing up for any free service, most often there are some strings attached.

They say that their service is free. with free support.... But I will take on board what you are saying.
Oh and they are so unreliable when it comes to answering emails....
