First time installation

Im using godaddy as my provider. Files been upload and when i run the script i get this:
Step 2) Connect to the database
Attempting to attach to database
Error description: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect (http://www.mville-bim.com/forums/install/function.mysql-connect)]: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2) /home/content/m/v/i/mville/html/forums/includes/class_core.php on line 311
The database has failed to connect because you do not have permission to connect to the server. Please confirm the values entered in the 'includes/config.php' file.

Any idea what's wrong?

or the user name is wrong

I just contacted godaddy regarding the issue because i cant even log on the database manager, the password gets rejected.
I will keep you psoted, thanks a million.

Ok, now i can access the db through godaddy but i still can't connect at the installation
