Will Vb work for this project??

Hi B4 I purchase I was wondering if someone could answer this.
I have had a quick play around with the demo but didn't see that this can be done. Anyway here goes:
Is it possible to enable mulitiple users to be able to add users from the cp but have no other capabilities from within the cp.
For example:John Doe becomes a member of the forum and after a while decides that he wants to recurit some new members. Each new member pays John 2pounds cash. John goes home and manually creates the user listing himself as the refferer. The new member then receives an email telling him/her that they now have a user account, what their user name and password is and a note to tell them to change the user name and password. After a while one of these users decides to do the same as what John did and so on. If this is possible does it require any customisation by way of a hack to achevie this

No sorry, there is no option to do that. You can limit some Admin permissions, but nothing that narrow.

Hi Steve,
Thanks for the quick reply. How narrow can the options go? Is it the fact that I want one user to be able to create a new user that makes this tricky as that is what I took to be the case from the Demo.
I'm sure I can work around it anyway but just wanted to ask.

If you give them the option to add users, they can also delete users, edit user records, etc. In short, you give them full control over all aspects of the user info.

LoL. not sure of the relevance of the bongs and pipes or if you are trying to imply something. But I can tell you they are legal.
