I've looked around and can't see of any way to do this. What I want to do is be able to take one of my forums, publish it as an RSS feed so I can import it over into my main forum as a teaser to bring people over to the originating forum.

I don't think it's a built in feature with vBulletin.

What's sort of what I've come to think. Unfortunately, THAT'S a show stopper for me to continue to run it as my political site. I'm looking at either another instance of my current software, FusionBB or the latest version of UBBthreads, both of which support the publishing of forums as an RSS feed. No matter, as I have 2 other sites I'm looking at powering by vBulletin, so I'll still be using it no matter what.

Well depends on what kind of content you want to feed. If it's just articles you could use something like Wordpress or Joomla! I believe the blog addon for vBulletin has syndication features as well.

Here is the RSS of Blog posts @ vBulletin.com http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/blog_external.php

Actually, after doing some research, you can do this.

It is a feature built into vBulletin so no addons needed.

Go to your AdminCP -> Vbulletin Options -> External Data Provider -> Enable it

Then point your browser to external.php @ your forum directory. :) Hope that helps

How can you limit the forums default, general RSS output - to be just the thread titles only?

Thanks
