Restricting users by access masks

I've just had to use the access mask feature for the first time to ban a particular user from one of my forums.

I've just tried out this feature on one of my test user accounts and notice that it just removes that forum from view for that user, which is great but it still shows the name of that forum on the forum jump, even though they cannot access it.

Any way to fix this?
