Remove all the folders in impex/systems that you don't need.

Any reason you're importing between the versions and not upgrading ?

Weve had some serious issues with the setup we were running every time we got a high number of people on the whole thing bumed out and crashed the server, we had our hosts monitor the server etc as we thought it was that but the server load never even hit the the red so its a seoftware problem ie maybe too many plugins etc and its all got very messy so we have installed a fresh new forum and with to bring all the threads, posts, attachments, members over etc so we end up with a new clean setup with every thing there, at least this way if the server still bum's out we know we need to pay for some help ;)
so any more idea's on the white screen??

First thing to check with white screens are the PHP error logs.
Is the target system completely default ?

Yes, default is the way to go.
ImpEx is not designed for cleaning out old databases that have been modified, cleaning up the source and upgrading is the advised route.
