45gig A Month Community Needs Host

I run a website that has around 5000 members.. now im getting 45 gigs a month of transfer and am paying $130 dollars a month. I need something cheaper .. and can someone else share their servers and how much they pay.. is 5000 members 45 gigs sound about right?

I only run the board on the server.. we dont use avatars.. but thats the transfer. How are all of you affording hosting?

2. where's your url?
3. how many pageviews per month do you get?
4. how many average users and peak users on your vB forum?
5. any other scripts you have running, i.e. banner scripts, polls, guestbooks, etc?

US$130 for 45gb/month is pretty cheap i'd say already

Does your host use mod_gzip?

If not, maybe your monthly banwidth could be lower in 30-70%.

Ask them. And if they don't want to install it, you could search a new host in webhostingtalk.com

Do no trust in anybody giving everything for nothing.

45 GB for $130 is a good price.

Why don'y you go with Rackshack.net.

For $108 USD a month you can have a dedicated server with 20GB H/Drive and 300GB a month bandwidth, and your saving money as well.
