backup the old site and then upload to the new?.. and you might want to change the address in your members account here at members.vbulletin.com

The instructions for moving servers are here:

http://www.vbulletin.com/go/move_servers

If you do not have SSH/Telnet the backup can be created using either phpMyAdmin or through the backup feature in the Admin Control Panel. If your forum is very large, these methods may be unreliable and you may have to get your hosting company to perform the backup for you.

I am also in the same situation. Moving forum from
/site.com/community/
TO
/site.net/community/
ON SAME SERVER.

Copy the database > Install script on new site is OK? All threads, forums are maintain same ids. Right?

How about cookies?
