PMs showing up in search engines

I've been told from one of my members that PMs from my board are showing up in search engines. Can anyone tell me how to disable this?

I don't think so. No one has reported that to me.

Guests would need the access to every users PMs to index them and place them on search engines.

Somewhere along the line, someone posted text from a PM in a public place somewhere on the internet. That text got indexed and that's what your user found.

Could you have that user link you to the actual search engine pages as well as what pages are being linked to by them?

Also, have them forward the PM in question if it isn't too much of an intrusion.
