what is all the things i need to do to upgrade..

i have mods and add-ons added to my forum. Do i need to uninstall them?
can someone give me all the steps thanks

do you have cpanel hosting? if not what CP do you have..

You back up your forum by downloading the files over FTP, and dumping the .SQL (database) over phpmyadmin or ssh.
