I can't seem to change my style on my forum? I select it from the drop down menu and it just refreshes the default style. I have tried this with all the styles I have installed and the same thing happens. It was working fine before and I haven't made any changes to the styles so I have no idea why this has suddenly started happening? Even if I point my url to the chosen style id, the same thing happens? Any ideas why?

Make sure the styles are user-selectable:
Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager
If the box is checked that means it's user-selectable.
Also make sure this is turned on:
Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Style & Language Settings -> Allow Users To Change Styles

Yes, I have checked these settings, it was the first thing I did. I'm not a newbie to the vbulletin software but have checked everything and still no avail. Being the administrator, I can still change the style regardless of whether it's user-selectable or not. It was working fine previously but now, everytime I select any of the styles I have installed, they all simply refresh the default style.

I don't know what else it could be. Perhaps an addon or customization? You can quickly determine this by temporarily disabling your customizations. Try to reproduce it on a default style:
Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> [Add New Style]
Create a new style with no parent. Then click that style's name in the Style Manager to view your forum with that style. If the problem goes away on the default style then you know it's a style problem at which point you need to systematically revert your custom templates to isolate the problem.
If you still have the problem then try disabling your plugins:
Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Plugin/Hook System
Also run a file check to look for customized files. Upload the original files if any problems are reported:
Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Diagnostics -> Suspect File Versions

I created a new style with no parent and that still doesn't work. It just refreshes the default style. I have done everything you have suggested but it hasn't made any difference! I don't understand as it was working fine before and I haven't made any recent changes to any of my styles to incurr this problem. I've even tried pointing my url at the style id in the web browser and it just refreshes the default style again. Help!
