Dealing with running Multiple Boards

I know we have a lot of customers, like myself, that have multiple licenses and multiple boards, perhaps even at multiple hosts.

How do you deal with managing / operating / running multiple instances; Regarding doing back ups, doing upgrades, multiple languages / styles, advertising, etc.

I would like to have the option to use the same board, but with different sub domains. That way it's all on the same system.
