I seem to notice a problem with the AJAX username check. When i first reach the register page and input a username I know is in use, I do not get an error.
If I remove focus from the username field and then refocus on that field and try to type the username again, than it works as designed. It just doesn't work the first time. It almost seems like I am typing too fast for it to recognize.
I tested that here on the vBulletin forums and it works the same way
