Changing Table Header color

This is my first post so don't flame me too bad:). I want to change the color of the table header. I put in the color code for the shade I want, but it stays the original blue. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Sure you're applying it to the .thead class in your style editor?

That should resolve it.
