I got the security bulletin and downloaded the 3.7.3 PL1 Patch. Can I just upload these files without issue? Or is there something more I need to do?

Going from 3.6 to 3.7 means you have to do a full upgrade.

Upgrade instructions summery

* Close the forum
* Backup the .sql database and the forum files
* Download and unpack the 3.7.3PL1 files
* Remove config.php.new from 3.7.3PL1/includes since you can use the old one from 3.6.x
* Upload the 3.7.3PL1 files, overwriting the files online (don't resume, don't skip)
If you have custom images you can skip the images/ directory
* Run upgrade.php from the browser (yoursite.com/forum/install/upgrade.php)
* Follow all the upgrade steps until you end up in the admincp after deleting the install.php and upgrade1.php files.
* You can open the forum again after testing that everything went ok.

And you're done.

Download vBulletin = Download full version, for users who don't run 3.7.3 but an older version.

Download Security Patch = A few files, to update, for users who already run 3.7.3

God, thank you!
I sent three messages to support and pretty much got told to go here:
http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/upgrade/
each time. Which doesn't answer the question what so ever.

The documentation tells you to download the full package from the members area.
