I am considering setting up my own site and forum etc.

This host seems to offer the most for good prices - particularly banwidth costs.

Could anyone give me reviews on there service whether you are a customer or not. Also point out any other hosts which you think would suit me.

Thank You.

Well I got a free domain from them so i'm pretty satisfied with APHosting. Although the ownership of the domain name isn't me  but so far so good. I give them a 8 out of 10 Rating.

Yeah it possible you just need to have DNS transferr enabled but some name providers charge extra for this..

well i prepaid for a year on the L200 and I was bugging them for a free domain and their sales, Tim, gave me the domain for free after 15 minutes of bugging and bugging and bugging . I think you should email their support ( support@aphosting.com ) and ask your them yourself. Most registrars offer free name server forwarding anyways. Never buy a domain name from networksolutions.com, thats all I have to say. You should bug them for a free domain name, it doesn't cost much but you know: save $15.00 a year if its free from the host. 2 of my friends also got a free domain name and here is the list people from Aphosting that will actually let you take them for granted:

Tim: Gives up the domain name if you prepay a year
Tony: He offered it to my friend without being asked for a free one.
George: Cheapo Cheapo, no free domain name no matter what

I don't think APhosting charges for DNS forwarding but you should ask them.
