hi all,
At present i'm having 3.6.9 working on my site.
But due to some reason...i'm shifting to a new domain.
So is it possible for me to directly install 3.7.3 in new server and domain, instead getting upgrade from 3.6.9.
I'm planning to load sql database of 3.6.9 to 3.7.3...
May I know what I'm doing is right or wrong..
A quick reply will be appreciated...
regards
zia

No, you should not do that. I recommend that you move the 3.6.9 fourm over, make sure it works, then upgrade normally.

Thanks for the Quick reply...
Currently i'm taking backup of mysql... its taking lot of time for the vb_post as i'm having 90K+ posts..

I m moving on a new domain, but hosting server will be same...
Do I have to Edit the License with the new domain... right...
Shall copy all the current vbullent files using FTP, and again uploading the same to new domain... keeping in mind about binary and ascii types...

Shall I go in this way...
I'm worried... not to loose the database....

Yes, edit the license with the new forum URL and copy the files over to the new location.
