After I imported the users, threads and posts using ImpEx and updates almost all the counters, in posts information it shows the writer as a guest and other information as n/a. It's as if the user was deleted. This is true for all users and posts.

How can this be resolved?

That means the data was not imported correctly. What exactly are you importing and what are the results of the import modules?

I imported Usergroups, Users, Threads, Posts and PM's from a database existing on my server to a new one. It's mostly successful and there are quite a few failed items.
Imported users are able to post with no problems (At least one user was checked and worked properly).

Imported vBulletin 3.7.*

That means that when that post was imported, there was no valid user to assign it to.

Yes but posts are imported after the users due to the sequence.

Yes, I understand that. Nonetheless as per your original data, no user was imported that was assigned to that post. That is why it is showing up as Guest.

You can try to redo the import, but if you get the same result then the problem lies in the original data.

Redoing it takes really long time and BTW the data is now being used in a live forum with no problem.

The problem was with redoing itself. I made an import once and cleared everything and imported again. This led to having user id's be different in the destination forum. Thus, even though the users were there, the threads and posts couldn't find matches.
I dropped the database and started everything from scratch.
