Eve to vBulletin?

I am the admin for an industry leading forum which is losing its edge due to using the horrific and antiquated forum software, EVE.

I'd like to import users and threads from EVE to vBulletin. I haven't found anything out there that does this, and it looks like Impex doesn't either.

I don't have access to the Eve database as it is remotely hosted on Eve's servers. There is no export function within the EVE admin guts ... I'm at a loss at how to do this without losing 1,000's in users, threads, and good SEO rankings. I'm sure the EVE folks will not grant me access to the SQL database and there is nothing in their user's guide (since such would promote an exodus from using their software).

Any ideas?

There is an EVE importer:

However is you do not have access to the EVE database, then unfortunately there is no way to do this.
