Use the full and complete path to the directory containing your backup. On Unix/Linux systems you can find the complete path name by telnetting or sshing into your server, going to that directory and typing:

pwd

I am sorry but not working! I found the path by a php script, everything is 777. PHPBB2X to latest vbulletin 3.7.2. Unbelieveble, i tried the very same setup a couple of months ago, with older impex and vbulletin, and IT WORKED. and now... none. :(

storage type is file system, not database, everything is cool :( incredible. Also checked source database, everything is fine, "user_avatar" field has data, storage is ok, all is great. It can be a server issue? not allowing to copy things around "by itself"?

If you are using the correct path, then I do not see how this could happen.
