Importing from Snitz / page does not appear to load

We are trying to move from Snitz forums to VBulletin but are having issues. We uploaded the impex and load the page (outside of the admin control panel as its a large forum). when we load the page it asks for the customer number which we insert and click submit. The page loads for a couple minutes and then times out and goes to a blank page. We have tried firefox and ie both. Looking in the database it appears 41597 users have been inserted out of the 91,074. Does anyone have any ideas?

You go from the customer number page to a blank page and in the middle it imports users ?

That's nearly impossiable unless you have an existing import going as you have to select the target and source systems.
