I noticed after doing a test import of vblogetin to vbulletin 3.7.2 the following problems:

The vblogetin blog title is mapped to each vblog post title.
The vblogetin blog description is not mapped to the vblog blog description. Instead, vblog shows "description" as the description.
The vblog post comment count is set to 1 in vblog when there is more than 1 comment.
The admin blogs are not mapped.

Will these problems be fixed? Also, when vblog v2.0 is release, will ImpEx be updated with a more complete mapping? By more complete I mean the above missing mappings and other features in vblogetin that may have a corresponding feature in vblog v2.0. Private/public status of each post, for example.

Thanks,

The title and description is imported where it is available, where it isn't the default of "title" and "description" is used so there aren't blank mandatory fields in vBBlog.

Have you updated the counters to get the reply count ?

Admins aren't merged during an import, you have to do that afterwards.

I've check the source database and the title and description are present so this appears to be an impex mapping problem. I believe I found where the wrong title is mapped but need to track down the description. I can post the file, line reference later; I don't have access to it right now.

I didn't think about updating the counters. That should probably fix #3.

Regarding #4, when you say "you have to do that afterwords", do you mean that I will need to manually re-enter my Admin blog data via blog interface or mysql interface? There's not a lot so it's doable. I just wanted to be clear that's what you meant.

Thanks,

If you can reference the source field in the database for the title & description and which one you mean in vB Blog I'll go over it again.

I mean you import the admin as a separate user, then merge them in the admincp to add the blog details.

You should be able to merge the admin users afterwards with the admincp.
