Where do I change the length of time posts are displayed

It appears that threads are accessible on my site for six months, I need to check some posts older than that, so how do I go about changing the length of time the posts are viewable for?

I just checked and I AM showing the Show all threads option, however, posts older than six months aren't showing.

Any thoughts?

I have checked and the parent forums also show all threads so it isn't a trickle down effect.

I am specifically trying to check on some contest winners -- I can find the polls from the old contests that go back to last fall, but can't locate the threads on anything older than December. I have NOT do any purging or trimming of my database.

SOLVED -- I'm sorry for bothering you -- I just realized before December the contests were in a different forum and we created the contest forum at that point.
