Looking for a web hosting company...

Before I purchase vBulletin with in the next couple of days. I am looking for a web hosting company that will fit my needs. Something that isn't too expensive starting off with. My question is, setting up a forum type website. Is there anything specific I should be looking for to have regarding the web hosting company I choose?

Edit: I have had web hosting before with StartLogic and Siteground. I would just like to know if I need anything specific with the web hosting I choose as I will be using vBulletin.

As long as your host have these, vBulletin will generally work:
PHP 4.3.3
MySQL 4.0.16

Though, we do recommend:
PHP 5.2.5 or later
APC or similar PHP cache
MySQL 5.0.51 or later
