Banned IP Address after Upgrade

I upgraded our forum from 3.6.8 to vBulletin 3.6.10 Patch Level 2

All went well, upgrade progression was fine and completed.

When I opened the forum and tried to access I got the "Your IP Address has been banned" message. I could see my username as logged in but could not move past that screen.

I could access the admincp though (odd?) so I removed all of our banned IP addresses. Doing that I could then could access the forum with a problem. I returned the list of banned IP numbers and again I could not access, getting the banned IP address screen.

My IP number is not one of those in the list.

Any idea what the issue might be?

Unless it's from an add-on, then that list of IPs contains your IP or at least the partial IP.

I found the problem was '*' as a wildcard. I removed all of those and have no problem now.
