I would like to have one forum section in my vB 3.7.2 forum that would act like this.
Visible to all forum members on the main page, but members would have to request access to it, much like a moderated section, but I don't want to moderate each post/thread.
Once they have requested access, they could go in, post, etc., without a password.
I would think that using the special access masks would work, requiring me to do each member individually, but is there an internal way to do the "access request" without resorting to emails or PMs?
The main goal is to force each member to acknowledge the rules of that particular section before they can enter to read and/or post.
If they break the rules, I will want them out of there, but not out of the entire forum.
THANKS
