How to put vb in another folder to root directiry..?

My vb files are in server root directory without a folder named "forum"
the file are so /home/*****/public_html
is that bad?
When i cut my vb files and paste to a new folder named "forum" in public_html
is that wrong ?can something happend to my forum?

It's not bad and there are no security implications.
