Image problem

New users trying to register keep getting an error message "Image verification could not be verified due to server issues".

Also, a load of imported smilies are now no longer showing correctly, almost as though they do not exist in the correct directory (they do, i have checked!)

1. It sounds like you are using reCaptcha and this is a connection poblem between your server and the reCaptcha server. You need to contact your host about this.

2. Did you check to make sure these smilies in the Admin CP:

1. It had been working fine, i will speak to my host.

2. The smilies have been on my board for 18 months+ and it is only in the last week that the problem has developed. They are in the Admin Cp.

Ok, solved the Smilies issue.....i had enabled Hotlinking protection on my site, and for some reason this stopped them displaying correctly.

Doesn't seem to have cured the reCaptcha issue though, so will hand that over to my host.
